Ms. Hoover manages all corporate finance and M&A activities for SKAI and its portfolio companies. Ms. Hoover has more than fifteen years of experience as an investment banker providing strategic advisory services and assisting companies with mergers and acquisitions, placements of equity and debt, and alliance formation. Before joining SKAI, Ms. Hoover was a Managing Director at Viant Capital, LLC, working primarily with emerging technology companies seeking financing and strategic partnerships. Prior to Viant, Ms. Hoover was a partner with Venturi & Company, involved in the origination and execution of transactions across a range of industry sectors that included financial and business services, software and media, consumer products and manufacturing and distribution. Previously, Ms. Hoover served as Vice President with Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, where she helped establish the firm’s Technology Banking Group, and cross-border and strategic alliance capabilities. Formerly, Ms. Hoover was an officer of Pacific Capital LLC, a merchant banking firm, where she concentrated primarily on the firm’s principal investment activities. Ms. Hoover began her career as a foreign service officer with the U.S. State Department. She received a B.A. in Russian and an M.B.A. from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
